Marseilles Area Recreational Skaters, Inc

MARS Inc is a non-profit organization working with the local skating youth from Marseilles raising funds to develop and maintain a skate park in Marseilles.

We are raising funds for a concrete skate park. Though we are applying for grant monies, most of these are "matching funds" which means we still need to raise a lot of money. As of December 2004, we have raised over $16,000 through grassroot fundraising efforts.

A major part of our fundraising is through recycling of aluminum cans. Please call us to pick up your cans!!!

THANK YOU

A warm THANK YOU to everyone for supporting the Marseilles Skate Park. We have held many fundraisers this past year and will continue to do so. Once the park is built, it will need to be maintained.

This skate park project will give the skaters a safe environment to skate and an alternative activity in the community. It takes a lot of time and volunteer effort. If you are interested in helping, the Skate Committee meets every third Monday in the Marseilles Elementary School cafeteria at 3pm.
